Effective date: April 10, 2026

Muster ("we," "us," or "our") operates a safety check-in service that allows groups to confirm the well-being of their members via SMS. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect

We collect the following information when an organization uploads your records into the Muster application:

How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to operate the Muster service:

We do not use your information for marketing purposes. Ever. We will never send you promotional or advertising messages. No data is shared with third party/affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS Messaging

Organizations (such as employers) enroll their members by uploading contact information through the Muster platform. By enrolling members, the organization confirms that it has obtained explicit consent from those members to receive SMS communications, consistent with their employment agreement or organizational policies.

Enrolled members may receive SMS messages from Muster on behalf of their organization for safety check-in purposes. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your organization's use of the service.

To opt out of SMS messages at any time, reply STOP to any message.

SMS opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. Your information may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your organization maintains an active Muster account. If an account is closed, we retain data for up to 90 days afterward (e.g., for reactivation or recordkeeping), after which it is deleted or anonymized, except where retention is required by law. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us. Data may persist temporarily in backups for a limited period after deletion.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
